wiquery releasedate?

Hello,

I was wondering if there is an official release date for wiquery, already.
I came across wickext just a few days ago and what I've seen so far seems very impressive. I then read that wickext and jquery4wicket plan to cooperate and build a new project named "wiquery".
I do not know if I should wait for wiquery or start with wickext.

Thanks for any details about the wiquery project.

kind regards,
richard

Hello,

We are planning to emit the WiQuery 1.0 release in June (I hope ^^), but it will follow the same programation model as WickeXt (e.g. jQuery integration etc).

The WiQuery 1.0 version will provide more behaviors (a clean way to internally manage events too) and a little refactoring to declare resources to import with a plugin (a not-so-much-desctructive one :D) and a stronger support of fancy effects, components and theming.

Hope it responds to your question !

Hi,

I started with wiQuery using your "quickstart" guide, http://code.google.com/p/wiquery/wiki/QuickStart, and downloaded wiQuery  http://wiquery.googlecode.com/svn/dist/wiquery-1.0-SNAPSHOT-r44-d1239057663270.jar. It seems that the source in SVN, http://wiquery.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ is not the same as the one in the jar. Do you have the working source code for 1.0-SNAPSHOT or we have to wait until June.

Thanks.

Hi,

The current 1.0 version source code is stored in the corresponding branch (see branches directory on google code's websvn).

In facts, the trunk contains the last stable release source code, all new features are developped in branches a merged in the trunk after each release.

Hope this helps,

Lionel
