This could be interesting, lol ..
Just to give some context, the AOB Campout is where we invite our clients to come out for a weekend of workshops about running their businesses with our software and service. We normally setup and folks come in on Thursday and Friday with workshops starting on Friday. We normally have a small fire on Thursday, and bigger ones on Friday and Saturday. We're still working on entertainment for Saturday night, but it will likely be 'around the fire' entertainment. (Sounding familiar yet?)
The only real difference between this and any other event we have out here is:
1) we ask the noise be kept to a minimum after a reasonable hour (we're actually working during the day, so I'm thinking midnight-ish) if you really want to do the 'blue shift' thing, maybe we could support another fire in the lower-field or something or just keep it reasonably quiet after about midnight. I don't like 'splitting the fires' even at a more 'secular' event, but if that's what we need to do so everyone can have a good time, I'm game.
2) no drunken party around the main fire .. not saying 'no drinking', but keep it moderate and understand that even the evening fires are largely 'shop talk' for us
3) the pavilion (mostly) and the main field are considered 'work space'. If you're in the pavilion during workshops, just be respectful. Feel free to sit in on the workshops (who knows, might learn something) or be in the pavilion (for the internet or shade or just company) but just be respectful.
4) NO clothing optional .. at all. As always, clothing optional is fine in the lower-field (hell, some of our attendees may join you as they have in the past). But when you come up to the main field, please dress respectfully (gentlemen, no pink mini-skirts, please, lmao).
5) We do, in fact, do workshops up until about 2-ish in the afternoon on Sunday, so if something special is done on Sunday it would need to be after that. No biggie, I don't suppose. If we're doing a barbecue, that can be setup outside the pavilion or at the main firepit or something, we'll just be in the pavilion with last-minute workshops/Q&As/etc
If anyone would like to register for this event, please do so, you'll be as welcome as always. In the past, we have had many Our Haven regulars come to this event or were camping during the event with no troubles at all. The kitchen will not be open during the event. We are planning to do a continental breakfast (donuts, coffee and such), Subway for lunch, and probably have Miguel's cater dinners (this worked GREAT last year). Food is included in the event price.
If you would like to register, we don't have Bill's fancy schmancy registration forms :) We just do it by paypal payments. The links can be found at

See y'all there!!!
