hi guys,
Where can i find the patch "poky-linux.patch" mentioned in the tutorial "tut-sdk-linux.pdf"?
The tutorial says "download the Poky Linux patch from the Open Kernel Labs website: http://wiki.ok-labs.com/", but I can not find it on the website.
    Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi,

I guess you mean poky-linux.patch.gz file. I downloaded it using link from http://wiki.ok-labs.com/Release/3.0 page several weeks ago. But now links to Poky Linux and the patch have disappeared from that page.
As I see the page have been edited recently. So it might be done unintentionally (or might be not). Anyway I have this patch and can send it to you if you are interested in. If you are, please send a private mail to me.

Actualy this is a good question! The Poky linux patch seems to have been
removed because it "tainted" the Linux kernel which seems to imply that the
licenses are not fully compatible (???).

Is there an official position from OK-Lab on the "compatibility" (past,
present, future) of linux with OKL4?

According some internet publications (for ex.
http://www.virtualization.info/2009/01/citrix-invests-in-open-kernel-labs.html)
It seems to me that OKL now preparing to become the part of the citrix.
So it could be official position of citrix.

Hello,

We are grateful for those who have noted the progress made at OK Labs. We
are constantly trying to make OK Labs a stronger company and enhance OKL4's
performance and capabilities.

As part of our efforts to strengthen OK Labs we recently received a
strategic investment from Citrix. OK Labs will use this investment to fund
global expansion of its research and development and business channels,
establishing further regional support throughout Asia, Europe and the
Americas. Together, Citrix and OK Labs provide a secure and robust
end-to-end applications delivery platform

The Developers Mailing List is a great place to associate with other kernel
hackers and learn about the technology. Although, if you are interested in
learning about OK Labs as a company the Alerts List is the place to be:
http://www.ok-labs.com/community/alerts-signup

We encourage you to reach out to us either via the mailing lists or
directly. We are always interested in learning more about you too. So, take
a moment and share with us what you are up to, technical concerns you have
and ways we may be able to help you.

Cheers,

Tim Heath
