| Subject: [Audacity-help] voice recording
| I can't record voice anymore. I download different versions and
| installed them with the same result. It acts like there in no mick or
| its volume is zero.
Please make sure you are setting your recording device properly in Audacity
according to these instructions:
http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Troubleshooting#No_waveform_being_recordedIf you have any further questions after following the above instructions, please
tell us what operating system you are on (e.g. Windows XP, OS X 10.4, and if
you are on OS X, whether you have an Intel Mac or Power PC). Also please tell
us what version of Audacity you are using (see Help > About Audacity or
Audacity > About Audacity in the program), and if the microphone is connected
directly into the computer or through some other device such as a mixer or
external USB or Firewire device.
