svn log: svn info: Invalid svn info xml; unable to find revision

I receive this error when I try to run STATSVN against my bigger software repositories.

C:\>java -jar b:\statsvn.jar c:\******\logfile.dat c:\ataaps
Nov 18, 2008 8:11:23 AM net.sf.statsvn.util.JavaUtilTaskLogger info
INFO: StatSVN - SVN statistics generation

Parsing SVN log 'c:\******\logfile.dat' exclude pattern 'null'
Logfile parsing failed.
svn log: svn info: Invalid svn info xml; unable to find revision or url for path
 [.] revision=null url:svn://********************** kind:dir

Any help would be appriciated. I use this tool to track chnages to the source code, so it is of vital importance that I know how to fix it or if a fix is available.

Did you do an SVN update before running the svn log?

P.S. Answering to Jason's question: in my case the whole repository has been checked out fresh before doing svn log and then running statsvn...

The issue that was found last time is that the svn log was not generated with the verbose flag. 

svn log -v --xml > svn.log

or:

svn log --verbose --xml >svn.log
