There is still space for you to participate in the upcoming
Plone4Artists / multimedia sprint
on July 18-22 in Boston, MA. Everyone is welcome, no matter what your skill level. See the list of people who are already coming and
sign up today
!
In addition to the jamming, coding and documenting during the day, we're also trying to arrange an outing to go see the
Red Sox play in Fenway Park, hear top Berklee College of Music students perform at the
Wallys Jazz Cafe jam session, and see the earth in 3D at the world-famous
Mapparium.
Multimedia topics and more!
The focus of the sprint is to improve Plone's handling of multimedia content, but there will also be a team working on
Vice (incoming/outgoing Atom/RSS syndication),
Deliverance and
Plone4ArtistsCalendar.
There is also an environmental track which will focus on REST web service for Archetypes, Map gallery and
Plone4ArtistsImage
, an image content type that can extra metadata about the image (IPTC, EXIF, geotagged location).
See the
topics page for the complete list of things we'd like to work on. Feel free to add a comment if you have a suggestion.
