I must admit I haven't done any cards for ages and I realy must get on and do some more X*** cards. I started some in June but it's so difficult to get in the mood for them then - plus I had a load of family birthdays etc. around then

ATC stands for Artists Trading Cards Scribbler and they're half (or quarter?) A5 size and cardmakers make/design and swap them with others. It's an addictive hobby to one friend of mine!! International too!!

your right there Joo it is addictive and its nice to see what other people can do on them and is easier than making cards i still do them as well but right into the ATCs at the mo  Joo how does your make swap them International does she go on a site that shows International swappers  ive only been on the do craft site at the mo

'Nother question

I know A5 is smaller than A4 (bigger the number, smaller the size for paper sizes)

Are they 'open-up-able' - like a normal card - or are they like a 'trading card'

I'm tempted to try them - once I know how. I'm thinking  that I'll give myself permission to do 1 ATC for every 5 Christmas cards I complete - a sort of reward for getting on with what I should be doing

they are a trading card they don't open and the size has to be 2x5 by 3x5 you can buy them already made or use your own card as long as they are that size it doesn't matter if you mail me your addy ill sent you one if you want and theres always someone to swap with ive swapped a few already and  ive only just started

honey, your ATCs are great, especially like the christmas bauble with embellishment. Imet honey on another craft site and she told me about this site, I craft to keep me sane but when I'm too ill I can't even do that, but last wek I was able to start crafting again, it will take a while to navigate this site but its lovely to meet you all and hope to pick up some tips, bye for now, dusty65

Yes thanks Honey - and I meant to send you one back - but went 'headless chicken' when I had my latest diagnosis
