 the  only 2 subs in the  po are taking Route2 and Route 3 the day after the holiday.     So we are geting a sub to come in from another PO to run Route 4 OR route 5       Since Route 4 is the senior carrier over Route 5  does he have first choice on using this sub?   Remember Route 4 AND Route 5 does not have subs.  WE are in the process of getting subs for them. who filled out their leave slip first, if someone turned their in first they should get it , if neither then seniority, but keep in mind they can also split one of the two routes between all three rcas , as long as they dont work over 12 hrs

   Seniority means nothing in this case!   My office if you get the day off your route sometimes split among 2 or 3 subs, and all bulk is cut, if you demand to be paid to clean up, you dont get the day off, PO loves rural carriers, weak unin doesnt help much eather!!
