Greetings, scim devels :)

First of all, I don't think this is actually a scim bug, but I've
basically run into a dead end with the gpg guys (that's not a
stab at them, btw, just a realization that they either can't
reproduce it and/or don't have the time/desire to do so); therefore,
I'm hoping someone here can offer some feedback and/or suggestions
as to what's going on with it.

To make a long story short, pinentry-gtk2 will not accept input
when scim is being used.

Here's the initial report:

and here's the rest of the thread (continued later):

Two wild guesses:

1) It probably cannot tell the difference between scim and key logging
spyware; both intercept the key event;

2) To avoid the first problem, security software often attempts to go as
direct to the hardware as possible, and it is possible tha scim is
confusing it in this respect.

Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want.
RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
