Summary: "Alt Gr" key doesn't work in Java Applications
Initial Comment:
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 with SCIM 1.4.7.
In Java Applications the "Alt Gr" Key doesn't work, so it's impossible to write [ ] @ {} (at least with a german keyboard layout. Don't know if it effects english layouts, too.) Refering to this bug on launchpad
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/netbeans/+bug/212364there is a link to patch the problem by editing /etc/profile with a few line and add the current location to /etc/scim/global. Look here:
http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=23368#23368Hope you can fix this.

Message:
I think this is a Ubuntu specific problem introduced by
20_scim_config.dpatch
You should easily be able to reconfigure your trigger keys for something
that suits you better.
IOW, I don't assume there is any real bug here.
