I'm a new steward in my office and a carrier in the office is scanning all her parcels before going to the street. What should I do?

They will if/when the district sends a report showing all delivery confirmation scans for that particular route were done at the same time.

The Aux carrier in my office is scanning all of his parcels "attempted"  before going to street.  Another regular in the office told me the PM instructed him to do so because he's missed scans in the past and doing this will prevent the problem.  The aux carrier does what he's told-afraid of being fired.

I'm the office pain in the a-- so the PM knows better than to let me know this is going on.

Wouldn't district pick up on this or is it up to the PM to look over the scan reports for potential problems?

A stewards job, is not to look at what carriers are doing, or management as a matter of fact, but when a complaint is filed then you leap into action, we are a passive ass   ociation, they dont want any waves unlessan official grievence is given to you, thats why our association stinks!!
