re: the abbreviation "R. Prof." What does R. stand for?

Hello there, I am working on a translation, a transcript from Brazil. In it is the following title:

R. Prof Antonio C.

What does R. stand for? Does it mean "Reprovado" as in "tenured"?

Not sure if you still need help with this. but I think the "R" stands for "Rua" which is Road. In portugual it is common for addresses to have the Road/Street/Avenue written first. There are alot of roads in Portugal named after professors, doctors priests.... I hope that helps.

I'm 99.9 positive that R stands for RUA, which means street.
In this case , RUA PROF Antonio carlos, or Prof. antonio carlos street.
