We have two CASA applications, one of the bpel contains a parnetlink linked to the other CASA aplication. The aplication passes all tests OK, the problemn is when running a performance test. Glassfish server is configured with 10 outbound threads for http-binding. A while after running the tests with 10 simultaneous users, glassfish hangs. If I increase the number of threads, the simultaneous users allowed increases too, but not enough. Glassfish hangs and we have to restart http-bindind and the service. We use: glassfish 2.1 Netbeans 6.1 http-binding 2.5 Any help would be much appreciated. We are stuck! Oscar Cruz

Hi oscar,

Did you use Glassfish ESB 2.0? or netbeans 6.1 ?

Could you try the same with GlassfishESB 2.1 ?

It would be great if you could attach Application Server log.

Regards,
Vitaly.

HI

I use netbeans 6.1 and the service is deployed in a glassfishESB 2.1.

The application Server log is empty, dont write nothing before hang. Only I see, in the http-binding configuration, that conections continue active after the glassfish hags.

Just a suggestion: perhaps the heap size is not big enough.
Try to play with jvm parameters like Xmx.

This should be caused by a thread pool contention problem we resolved
quite a while ago. Looks like you're on a pretty old build. And the
version "2.5" for HTTP binding doesn't sound quite right to me. I wonder
if you got it from the snapshot version of the installer jar?
To get past this problem, you could either install the latest GlassFish
ESB version 2.1, or get the latest HTTP BC build from
https://open-esb.dev.java.net/Downloads.html
