Did Peter Preston attend either of the northern reunions?

I see Jackie Pallo had a 1979 victory over Preston.  Must have been some talk that night.

hi in response to your thread peter is my grandfather i have seen in numerous comments left on here that my great grandfather may of been a wrestler this is not the case and can confirm that mu grandfather is stilla alive and well

Peter Preston is one of the most intriguing wrestlers we discuss so we are delighted to hear from his grand-daughter.  Please send him our very best regards.  A lot of readers here, probably several hundred, will be fascinated by your words.

Please also ask your grandfather if he can tell you something about his years as a top wrestling name, ask him if he has any memories of his friends Norman Morrell and Mick McManus.  He was also closely linked with Jimmy Saville.

Do assure Peter he is as much a controversial character in 2009 as ever he was in 1967!
