Our Manager is demanding 100% scans too. Carriers are threatened with discipline for missing any scans. I was informed last week that any carrier who misses scans three times (no time frame) will be removed for failure to follow instructions. I was questioning the order to scan all packages and barcodes just in case they might read. I informed them we do not receive compensation for this nonsense and they cannot demand this unless they are willing to pay us for the new duties they implemented.
Another problem I noticed is that when a parcel is scanned to a route that does not have that address it is shows as a failure even if it was scanned on another route.
