hey everyone
the new version (as of 26th of march 2009) of openframeworks has been
released: version 0.06
http://www.openframeworks.cc/about

the new version comes for the following systems and IDEs:
windows (visual studio 08 and codeblocks)
mac osx (xcode)
linux (codeblocks, 32 and 64bit versions)
iphone (xcode and iphone sdk)

get it here:
http://www.openframeworks.cc/download

you can read the sweet sweet changelog:
http://www.openframeworks.cc/changelog-v006

what? what are you doing still reading, get it and learn c++ already!
I know most of you here have a background using Processing, so i'm
including this link as well:
http://wiki.openframeworks.cc/index.php?title=OF_for_Processing_users
to get you to stop using it :p

I really only took a quick look, and it looks pretty cool, but can you explain quickly what is the benefit over processing?

the update() function would be useful, but doesn't processing have opengl, arduino, etc support? What's the win for openframeworks?

Next time I find some free time, I'll check it out. I was wanting to
dive into C++ for a while, I guess OF is a nice introduction to the
language.
