Hi all, sorry no photo need a teenager about to help me with that one!!!  I had a little trouble joining. everytime I typed in the squiggly letters/numbers thing you have to copy it kept saying I'd done it wrong so took a few attempts.  Taken a few days to check my email as well to confirm registration as in bad fibro & crohns flare after my tribunal disaster Monday.  

For those joining that aren't members of other site I'm a 41 year old mum of 5 & live in Peacehaven which is just down the road from Brighton.  I love reading & singing (not at same time & not claiming to be a fantastic singer lol)  looking forward to chatting with old friends & hopefully making some new ones too

Welcome to the forum, my son, his wife and our two grandchildren live in Peacehaven. I'll give you a wave next time we go to see them, which is not very often as we live just outside Nottingham, its a long way to travel and costs a fortune in these days of expensive fuel.

Is Hove your side of Brighton? My brother recently bought a flat there. Like Graham said, it's a long old jaunt from Bristol too so I'll wave over the internet mate

Graham, I think I remember you saying your family lived here on the other forum.  Have they told you about our wonderful new co-op?  We were all looking forward to it but I'm very disappointed & find Sainsburys cheaper these days, even though the co-op was originally meant for us paupers

 Somehow doubt it mate, we're talking £150,000 for a two bed ex council flat four storeys up!!  It's his retirement home/fund as he rents in London and you know what the prices are like there!!

Never been down that way tho' is it nice or packed with peeps 'cos you know I is just a country girl chewing the cud an' all, who is used to green fields and space!! Can't be coping with packed places and traffic jams - does my head in!!!

They've not mentioned the co-op but they have a small Tesco Express near them but I think they do their shopping at Brighton Marina, I think its an Asda.

Hark at me, talking about shopping my wife would be impressed, I've told her I'm allergic to it.

Joo, yes Brighton & Hove are packed with people, Peacehaven is quite busy in places too but I'm at the posh end so have farmland quite near, really funny when you're driving the kids to school & sheep have escaped!!!

Graham, the Tesco Express is about a 5 minute (normal, healthy person) walk from where I live.  I too do most of my shopping at Asda at the Marina or Morrisons in Seaford.  I can't believe you're allergic to shopping, surely no man suffers from that hope it's not too serious an allergy
