this may seem really odd but thought i would share anyway..when we first got daisy she seemed so huge, so big in fact she was described by relatives as a donkey, a horse and a cow and she dwarfed my little whippet molly....such a very very large girl, yet now we have had her 3 weeks she seems much smaller and i cant see why i thought she was big. is this just me or have others experienced this with their greys? she is becoming a fantastic girl who is happy and playful and has settled really well except for when she is left, where she turns into a manic chewing machine (doors, walls, steps, clothes etc). it lovely seeing her be so happy and im really glad we decided on a greyhound -best choice ever....also love the pics that people have posted x

Hi,
I think you probably thought she was big because you weren't used to her, but now you are used to her she seems smaller! Strange-but true!

yep Daisy is a big girl but once you have had her a few weeks you just don't notice it.

We have the same thing with Bob- she looks to be a similar build to him.

We don't really notice it until I see him next to a dog I used to think was big, like a Lab. But when we are out with him people invariably stop us and say how big he is.... followed by can they have him. (Jon says yes and I say no)

I'm looking forward to seeing the pair of them together.

Sometimes I just look at Bob and Bren as they are hurtling along off lead and just revel in the transformation in them. Bob was always content, as long as you love him, but Bren has become a happy, lively pup who just loves life.

I can't imagine having any other breed of dog now
