Came back from caravan on sunday and was sorting myself out ready for work monday when Eddie(hubby) started shouting ran out of kitchen to see molly(who is 11) chasing a cat in the garden she got hold of it but when i screamed at her to let go she did and cat eventually escaped. Not bad for a dog who when we got her in January was very unsteady on her feet. Bet the cat does not return in a hurry

What a lucky moggie. I hope it was ok.

To be fair to Molly.... our two "cat friendly lunatics" will chase cats in the garden, even our own cats. Fortunately they haven't caught them yet. But on the plus side... the other local mogs have stopped using our back garden as a toilet

Send Molly down here to give Alfie a few lessons.  He is more interested in birds and butterflies.
Neighbours cats are very cheeky, but they have stopped coming into my garden once they saw the heavy mob arriving, kish, rosko and jeanie.  They still taunt the dogs though, walking slowly passed the gate.
Guinea pigs are glad of the mob, they now have personal bodyguards

I'm surprised the heavy mob don't go after the pigs

my daisy is not cat friendly either even tough she hasnt been raced - well i say that but it might just be my mams cat cos she is disabled(has a kind of parkinsons type illness and walks like she is very drunk) daisy is quite aggressive around her so wont be pushing my luck trying to get them to bond! must admit though that she is fine with the guinea pig at home. my other little dog molly the whippet has always been great with small animals -knew from the beginning when i couldnt get her out of a bush in the garden and finally realised that she was sniffing a tiny baby bird! for a whippet she has a tripe 'killer' instinct, although she can murder a quorn sarnie while my back is turned....
