Well, so much for my question last night about investigative meetings for use of the 3575Z during the mailcount.  I am sitting at home suspended for doing what I  thought was my job.  So far they are suspending everyone they are questioning in Henderson NV.  At this point no one is being judged on the merit's of their case just what appears to be a blanket suspension......everyone goes!  Tell me this didn't come down from on high.  I emailed my steward and asked if bankrupting our Union was part of the initail plan or just the bonus they are going to get!!!!!!!  I have been with the PO a long time and when carriers would gripe about the PO putting it to us or trying to trap us or manipulating the count themselves I always listened and just never went along with it as I just didn't subscribe to that way of thinking........until today!  If they are pointing the finger at us at least for a while it is not pointed at them and their job is safe for another pay period.  Beware the witch hunt.  When the net is thrown out the intent is to pull back everyone they can  some to be kept some to be thrown away.

Do you happen to know what the over/under is for acceptable MLNA's?  I've heard 10 or lower was safe, but of course, that's solely rumor.

I really don't know the answer to that.  What I know is in my case they pulled up how many I had done prior to the mail count

what does how many you done before count have to do with it?

I'm in the same set of offices as Scubalind, and what they're checking to see (I think) is that if you submitted 2 or 3 MLNA's a month the rest of the year, and then suddenly  have  quite a bit more during the count...  the total in our three offices now is 7 people suspended..it takes 30 MLNA's to gain an hour.....  i've heard of people submitting 40-50, but not sure if it is true or not..

I'm in the same office and spoke with management today.  They said "2 forms for the month would not have been enough to drag someone into this mess.  A submission of 2 would mean half the office would be taken out".  So someones numbers are off.  With rumors flying the way they are, you have to sort out what and who you want to believe.

to carrier17 - it would to take 30 to gain an hour if the count were just  1 week.  120 to gain an hour in this 4 week count.  i'll be curious to find out what happens in this whole mess.  this isn't payback from management for the newspaper article that ran about mailcount last year is it?

Be careful when you sat 30 a week equals 1 hour. Someone who is very close to the next hour increase could only need 1 or 2 to increase their evaluation.
