Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)

Hi,

…trying the new platform and the Excel integration:

After installation I’m using the sample spreadsheet to connect to the platform – I opened the sample spreadsheet and pressed “Start Connection to OMS”

Than a runtime error occurred: “User name and password is invalid”

You mentioned that upon 0.5 a username/password is required – could you please upgrade your COM components as well? Or is there a different way to solve it?

Thanks,

Ralf

Ralf,

We are in the process of updating the COM component, i'm hoping to
have it available early next week.

The one way you can work around this issue, meanwhile, is to disable
authentication in the ORS altogether.
Modify the ors/conf/broker.xml file and comment out this section:
   <amq:plugins>
       <amq:jaasAuthenticationPlugin configuration="ors-amq-domain" />
     </amq:plugins>

Let me know if that solves your problem.
