link with postgresql and postgis

Dear list!

I want to link a postgresql table with a postgis attribute table. I am
able to choose the source table and the attribute, which is used for
linkng. I can also select the table of the link target, but no list of
attributes is shown in the drop down field.

I tried this in various versions of gvsig 1.9 (build 1235 to 1249)

Is it possible to link tables from an GeoDB at all?

Hello,

I've know a lot of problems linking gvSIG 1.9 to PostGIS because my
Vista was at 64bit. After change the Vista to 32bit, everything works
very well.

Hello,

The problem is solved. Windows xp64 is not the problem. The datatype of
the attribute field is the problem. character varying is possible for
linking. character does not work.
