All,
I have added the libspatialindex 1.4.0 library package to OSGeo4w. It
is available as both a DLL-only and a .lib/header -dev package (built
with msvc 2008 express). It is expected that C camp softwares such as
QGIS, GDAL, or GRASS might wish to take advantage of this library. It
provides LGPL-licensed R-Tree, MVRTree, and TPRTree implementations.
I plan to use it for an upcoming release of libLAS as well, which is
what precipitated its packaging.
