Is it possible to output "jQuery" instead of "$" (noConflict)?
May be some global setting?

It's not yet possible in the current version. It can be an option in the 1.0 version, I'll add this to my checklist :)

I'm also faced this problem, trying to use wicket + wickext under Liferay. estimately, when the 1.0 can be released?
