installation problem

Selam All,

I have a problem when I have tried to install GRASS
6.2.1
I have installed all the prerequisite softwares except
Gdal.Actually i have installed the Gdal from "FWTools"
but it asks me again and agian that it couldn't find
gdal-config .What can I do about it?

gdal-config is installed by the package libgdal1-dev. You need to
install it.
