html form entry encounter date

Hi everyone,

How do I show the time of encounter in an htmlformentry-created form? The encounter's timestamp is essential for the reports we need. However, encounterDate (required field) returns only the date but not the time. All of the sample forms we've seen do the same. Is there any tag/workaround that we might have missed?

Thank you very much.

Regards,
- Randy

Hi Randy,

There is not currently a tag for this. It is pretty easy to add though. Would it be okay, as a first pass, of having dropdowns for hour (0-23) and minutes (0-59)?

PS- Can you create a ticket in TRAC for this, for the HTML Form Entry component?

Hi Randy,

I had some unreleased additions to HTML Form Entry, so I went ahead and added this feature, and released a new version.

Everyone,

Version 1.5.1 of HTML Form Entry is out. It adds the following possible options:
1. <encounterDate useTime="true" default="now"/>
2. <enrollInProgram programId="2"/>

Hi Darius,

We are now using the new feature. However, we were not able to use
some of the old features, so I added another ticket.

Thank you for your response.
