Hi!
I'm hoping this can be done, as I have to do it every week and repeating each step is tedious.
I need to import a number of wav files into a project, each should begin where the last ends - no gaps.
Is there a way to import a number of files at once?
Is there a way to have a file import to the spot where the last imported file ends?

Many thanks!!

You can import multiple files at once in the Project > Import Audio dialogue (File > Import in the Beta Audacity). Either SHIFT - select adjacent files or CTRL + Click on non-adjacent files as your operating system supports. Alternatively, type the file names in manually, enclosed in quotes " " and separated by commas.

Unfortunately we lack an automatic means to align tracks end to end, or to automatically align imported files in this way. This has been asked for, so I'll add it to our Feature Requests page on the Wiki:
