Is there any way to get quicktime movies to open in Shadowbox and then play using the JW Player, rather than the Quicktime player?

Answering my own question, I finally found a very old post where someone figured out an easy way to do this, and it works! In this example, I used a thumbnail jpeg to link to the quicktime movie.
dropdownInit('dropdown3869761'); if (Nabble.searchterms != null && Nabble.searchterms.length > 0) { Nabble.hilt(Nabble.searchterms, Nabble.get("nabble.msgtxt3869761")); Nabble.hilt(Nabble.searchterms, Nabble.get("post-subject3869761")); }

Oh boy, what happened with that? I'm new to this—how can I share code without it turning into gobbletygook?

Here is the way to do it, just by adding some code to your link:
"path_to_your_file.mov" rel="shadowbox;height=XXX;width=XXX;player=flv;options={flashVars:{type:'video'}}"
