If the Congress passes a healthcare reform bill which mandates that employers provide health insurance benefits, does this mean that RCA's can get benefits just like regulars and at the same price?

The same price is doubtful.  I would think the Federal Government should cover it's own employees anyway since they mandate other businesses to cover anyone with more than 36 hours in a week.

I think that one thing is being missed here.  Government can mandate that employers "offer" health insurance coverage.  Thing is though, they won't be mandating whether or not the employer has to pay any of the premium.  hmmmm....loophole here!!

One thing that is not covered in the controlled media is the the fact that government controlled health care insurance plan would tax existing health plans and you would be fined heavily for not having a health plan.  No one is not exposing the the fact that the federal government does not have the Constitutional authority to be involved in the health care industry.

As far as RCAs being covered, you would think that the union would push for it.

You would think the union would push for RCAs getting to use Flexible Spending Accounts also, but you'd be wrong again.

Many RCAs on H and J routes do not have large enough or regular enough pay checks to cover a health insurance deduction or an FSA. I would also like to see sub time count toward retirement. We have the "city" rural carriers, the "rural"  rural carriers, the RCAs,and the retired .Throw in the sub catagories of L routes,K routes ,J routes, and H routes it is hard to have a contract that will make everyone happy.
