gvSIG 1.9 RC2::userdefined labelling/rotation angle

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)

Dear list,

I tried unsuccessfully to label a postgis point feature with a justification left button and a rotation angle from a database table.

Labelling from the database (first labelling method) would give me the choice to select a database table column to retrieve the angle; but it won't work, because the labels would always be placed with justification left top.

With user defined labelling (second labelling method) I can choose the proper justification, but no rotation angle from a database table...

Is there a solution I overlooked?

Hello Falk,

Unfortunately, gvSIG is not able to apply both options (rotation and
placement) at the same time, because, as you noticed, each one is
implemented in one of the labelling methods. Maybe you can try with
annotations layer, where is possible to edit one by one once they've
been created.

However, we'll note this as a feature request.
