what could also bring som buisness to the park at least from my point of view is when there are no events going on open up the straight away for stuff like grudge drags where looser has to pay any fee's but the prices for this type of thing would have to be by the number of runs u make like for instance $100.00 a run per car for three runs and the money would still be pouring in because as soon as one person wins the frst set the looser would want to do a double or nothing type of thing

Thank you for the idea.  We are certainly listening to any and all ideas for future use of the facility!

A nice idea, but in reality the straightaways are not suited for drag racing. This track was designed for serious road racing, by serious road racers. the goal was to build a chalenging track that will continue to bring a thrill to competitent drivers for years. A drag strip may be incorperated in future build out, but for now the drag race is between corners: The timing of your green light is dependant on how well you took the last corner and ends at the very last instant you dare to cary the speed into next the turn. Probably not for everybody, but for those that love this sport, this is one of the best anywhere.

while i was up there on open night the main straight looked about the right length how ever it left litte deceleration time so if you do incorperate a drag strip later on the standard length i believe is about a half mile with at least a quarter mile of slow down zone and 20 feet of burnout space for future referance
