Hi All,

Can anyone point me at a good windows gpstk build with the includes and libs needed for ossimPlanet. I've been having a difficult time with it.

Thanks.

Don

Hi Don,

I don't think Garrett had a chance to update the ossim_dependencies.zip for windows file before he left on vacation.
You can grab a copy of it here.   It is about 825 MB or so and should contain all the libs you need to build.

Take care,
---scottie

Thanks Scottie,

That did the trick. However, it is missing osgdb_png.dll in the osgPlugins-2.8.1 directory. Do you have that and if so can you send it to me?

Thanks.

Hello, I came across this forum... I am looking for assistance. I am trying to install the GPSTK tool kit. Is it possible to do on a WINDOWS operating system? I have been trying for over a week now and I never get it to work. I heard people on LINUX system use it, but never on a WINDOWS OS

Thanks,
G

Hi,

ossimplanet is built on windows.  We've been using visual studio 2008
(vs9) express lately so I know it will build with that.

For GPSTK you might try looking here:

Hello All:

gpstk does not export any symbols so on windows I usually build it as
static.  This is how I built the current gpstk under the
ossim_dependencies for windows.  I just needed to build the core
library so I created a project that built only those self contained
files in the gpstk directory.  I didnot worry about all the test
applicaitons, ... etc that are in the gpstk library.

Take care

Garrett
