getting started

   Hi.  I thought I'd get this started, expecially since I'm open to everyone.  
   My name here is Bloodstone because that is my alternative birthstone.  I am a March baby.  I will be 25 soon and have been married for 5 years.  I read a lot of books, mostly fantasy and sci-fi.  I'm also a movie freak but I don't do love stories, dramas, or stupidity often.  
   I am trying to write a book about a werewolf called "The History of Were" and part of it is in the critique forum.  I don't know if I really want to be published.  I just like to write things for people to read.
   The only other thing of note in my life is that I make custom jewelry.  I don't do smithwork or lapidary, but I do have a new passion for chainmaille.  The only bad thing is that it is time-consuming and gets expencive quickly.  I wish I had more time/money for it but that gets into a catch-22 situation.
   Any way...  I hope everyone enjoys this site as much as I have.  Bye.

I didn't know you did chainmail. That's pretty intense—I've known people who did that; they said pretty much the same things you did about it, too (how they loved it, but it took a lot of time and money).

Do your freinds do chain armor or jewely?  I only do jewelry, preferably in sterling or argentium.

Oh, I think they just did small sections—I don't know that they actually finished anything enough to be able to say what they do. It's been a long time since I've seen any of them.
