Lorenzo.

We should have loads of docs/info etc for you once we're clear of the conference.

+ I'd suggest arranging some time for some beers in Sydney so we can share our experiences?

Simon

Sobre el academic trac no se que decir, por lo que no digo nada

hehe, yo tampoco. quien tiene una idea de que vale este tema?

Sobre el lema, seria bueno conocer lemas anteriores (¿es necesario un lema?)

2009:Witness the Geospatial trends shaping today's IT industry
2008: Open Source Geospatial: An Option for Developing Nations
2007: nada (creo)
2006: nada (creo)

no se me ocurre nada que de verdad pueda decir: ESO!
yo por ahora lo dejaría sin

si nos metemos a pedir a la comunidad que nos ayude, luego nos toca tomar el lema que nos aconsejan.
me parece riesgoso
;)

Hi Lorenzo!

How are you?
I hope we will have time to talk in Sidney (and in Évora one week after
Sidney), but I would like to know:
1) Have you already decided a lemma for 2010? It's a secret to be
announced in Sidney?
2) Have you already decided to keep an academic track in 2010? I've been
involved in 2008 (less) and 2009 (more), and in both events the decision
was taken too late. If you decide to have an academic track, we need
time enough for preparing the call, invite people for the committee,
reviewing, improve, etc, and we a reputable journal interested in the
publication.
So, my point is, if you decide for an academic track, please include it
in the announcement for 2010. If you need help, of course, I'm in.

See you soon,

Jorge
