Can someone please tell me how a deviation to deliver an express will show up on your paystub. I worked 44 hours during Memorial day week (I'm an RCA, 44 hours was my actual time). I deviated 8.5 miles to deliver an express before going out on route. Paystub for that week showed 40 hours at regular pay, 4 hours OT, EMA was for 5 days. Since I was being paid actual hours, did that cover the 2 min. per mile for express? What if I had stayed under 40 hours? PM put in for a 9 mile deviation, why does it not show up as an entry on EMA? Thanks for help.
If, like you said, you are getting paid for your actual hours then you did get paid for the deviation.
Why would they pay you for more hours than you actually worked?
If you got paid your evaluated hours, then the deviation should be extra pay.
on your paystub it will show the daily rate of ema, the number of days, and the total amount of ema. when you have a deviation, the only thing that is different, is in the total amount. if you multiply the number of days by the daily rate, it will be less than total, if the deviation was properly entered.
