Hi guys

i try to setup PloneMeeting and PloneTask for a production
installation using Buildout, and shows the follow error on this link
[0] for that i create this buildout configuration [1] the error is
with z3c.recipe.openoffice [2], what do you think about this error? i
do not know what happen, i continues search on the Internet for found
a answer

My operative system is Debian Lenny with information kernel are Linux
canagua 2.6.26-2-amd64 #1 SMP Thu Mar 26 02:56:43 UTC 2009 x86_64
GNU/Linux

Without seeing your actual error, this is just a guess, especially since I haven't tried those add-on products (in a while, anyhow.)

I suspect that your error is likely related to the word-to-text and other office document format transformations that Plone attempts to find on the OS.  If they're present, then the content (contained terms within) such proprietary documents are converted to text for indexing (and then discarding from tmp.)

OpenOffice contains open source conversion utilities to help accomplish that transformation, so zope looks for them at start up and if they're present, you get this transformation auto-magically and your 'searchableText' (site-wide search box index) index is populated with the terms within Word and other files as searchable content.  You aren't just limited to searching on such files by title and/or filename and other Dublin Core metadata any longer.
