Dear folks,
this year's INTERGEO trade fair will be taking place from September the
22nd to September the 24th in Karlsruhe. This year the "Open Source Park",
where users and developers of Free Software Geo projects (like deegree)
are given the opportunity to present their work, is for the first time
organized by the OSGeo local chapter FOSSGIS e.V.
According to the current state of planning deegree is also going to get
some space for presentation and we'd like a couple of members of the deegree
community to meet there and share their thoughts about deegree with the
public at INTERGEO.
If *you* are interested to contribute to the deegree InfoPoint
presentation by coming to INTERGEO, being present at the InfoPoint for
an hour or two, telling/showing to interested people what you know about
deegree, you're cordially invited to do so. Please notice that the
InfoPoints shall be kept free of any commercial presentation -- there is
enough other room for this at the trade fair...
If you are interested, please let us know. If you have questions about
logistics etc., please don't hesitate to contact us by private mail.

Liebe Freunde von deegree,
die diesjaehrige INTERGEO wird vom 30. September bis zum 2. Oktober in
Bremen stattfinden. Wie in den letzten Jahren wird es dort einen
"Open Source Park" geben, wo Nutzern und Entwicklern von Freier
Geo-Software (wie deegree) die Moeglichkeit gegeben wird, ihre Projekte
und die
Ergebnisse ihrer Arbeit zu praesentieren. In diesem Jahr wird sich
erstmals der
FOSSGIS-Verein als OSGeo Local Chapter bei der Planung engagieren.
Die gegenwaertige Planung sieht auch einen Informationsstand fuer das
deegree-Projekt vor, wo sich einige Mitglieder der Community treffen und
dem Messe-Publikum das deegree-Projekt vorstellen koennen.
Wenn *Sie* auch Interesse haben, an der Praesentation des
deegree-Projekts an diesem InfoPoint mitzuwirken, indem Sie zur INTERGEO
kommen, am InfoPoint (fuer eine oder zwei Stunden) anwesend sind und
interessierten Personen ueber deegree berichten moechten, sind Sie
herzlich eingeladen
dies zu tun. Bitte beachten Sie aber, dass die InfoPoints frei von
kommerzieller Praesentation bleiben sollen-- dazu gibt es im Rahmen der
Messe
andere Moeglichkeiten...
