I don't understand the question.

Is the current route you are assigned to going to change to an H route, or is the regular carrier for your route changing to another route?

"H" routes have subs also.  That is how I started.  Any other route you go to could become an "H" route.  Used to be most routes were "H" routes.

OK need more info, how many routes are any in need of subs, h j or k routes, needless to say an h route gets no time off, wait for the carrier to get sick or croak, not a good idea, are you in an area scheduled for FSS any time soon, etc, need lots of info, my office has 22 routes, 2  routes being run by subs full time after last count 2 carriersa retired, FSS also made them make up their minds to go, our subs averag 40 hours a week, and 2 earning leave, also most of us h routes before FSS, except for heavy flats this year and political mail up the wazoo, PO might have screwed themselves at rushing us into this count, of course willing to bet well get it again in feb mar!    If your in an automated area with FSS raising its ugly head and your a junior rca, get smart and find a job someplace else, if your real rural no automation stick it out mabe youll have a job in the near future, but not here in urban America!!!!
