Hi

I'm requesting features from a wfs store (GeoSever 1.7.5) with a filter. The filter has some special characters in it ("ü", "ä" etc.). It will not find features with these characters. I tried the cql filter form in the GeoServer demo page which works with these characters so I think it's propably more a problem how GeoTools (2.4.5) is sending the characters? Same problem with adding features to the store.

regards
Stefan

CQL generates a filter object, so if the store doesn't work with filter that
filter CQL will fail too. I will add a test in CQL to confirm that it is
producing the expected filter.
