can audacity run the gnap plug i try but no luck when i put it in the plug in folder then go to my effects it not there can someone help me

I assume you mean "GSnap". It will load (you have to restart Audacity before any new plug-ins will be seen) but I don't think it will provide pitch correction as Audacity's limited VST support means you cannot access its display or all the controls. Audacity has limited ability to change pitch manually for individual bad notes (under the Effect menu).

how would i go about doing that

Zoom in, select the area you want to pitch change and Effect > Change Pitch. It may actually truncate really short selections though, and obviously if you have (say) a voice track and backing track, work on the voice track separately, because everything in the selected track will be pitch changed.
