Dear Gale Andrews,
Thank you again for taking the time to respond to my question. I think you believe me when I say I don' know what I am doing. I have a hard time comprehending anything PC or WWW.
Why I bought a PC that has everything in it but the kitchen sink I don't know?
I am going to try to explain what I am trying to do and what I have as far as concerns this situation.

Here is what I am doing.
I have my Cable TV hooked-up to my PC and I can watch TV if I want to. (I don"t)
I have a program called: INTERVIDEO WINDVR --by which I can record TV or video on my PC and allows me to preview TV programs from a TV tuner source and encode it into MPEG-2 video format in real-time. WinDVR also offers an EPG (Electronic Program Guide) to help with scheduling recordings in advance.
I then use another program called PINNACLE INSTANT CD+DVD to import the files I have recorded, and compile and burn them to a DVD (for ex. I have been recording the History CH. SPECIALS __UNIVERSE)
I also have music channels which I can record but they have video STILL's on the screen while the music is playing. So I dont know if that will work on AUDACITY?
If I ever learn to use AUDACITY I am going to try to burn the music I record to CD's using what you have told me .
However there may be another way, I have found out that I can reduce the WINDVR DISPLAY Brightness,Hue,Contrastand and Saturation to - 0 - which gives me a BLACK screen (no video i think???)
Anyway if I ever get this solved I will let you and the AUDACITY FORUM know about it. Now I have to learn how to use AUDACITY.
MANY THANKS TO YOU AND AUDACITY FORUM
Robert G Burrell
