add or edit field propterties

someone know how can I add a new field or edit field properties in a table of a shapefile with udig ?

I think that can be addressed with the reshape operation.

ok, thanks for the tip.

I have had some problem to use the reshape operation because it doesn't work when there isn't any
feature in the shapefile. I have just to add one feature in the shape.
