I'm sure several of you have been in a similar situation. We're needing
(urgently) the services of a competent Python programmer. It would be
perfect if they have experience with Zope3, Zope2 would would be
helpful, neither Zope2 or 3 would be adequate (as I said, urgent :)).
If you don't know of any Python developers, but *do* know of a great JS
developer, that could also work for us!

The *preference* would be for a Christchurch or Wellington based
developer (in that order), but anywhere in NZ would be considered. We'd
prefer nothing more than a few timezones away (we have a developer in
Ireland ... he is great, it's workable but not ideal for communication).
Given that this does come up quite frequently in most of the companies
whom I know of doing Z3/Z2/Plone development, I wonder -- would some
kind of collection point for interested parties to come to us would be
useful? A specialist Z3/Z2/Python mini-job site of sorts.
