Advanced Irrigation Workshop
Saturday March 28th 2009
At The Youth Garden Project
9am-4pm
Cost $10 (includes lunch)
Spend a day learning about and installing an irrigation system. Everything will be covered, from backflow prevention to valve manifolds and winterization. We will discuss the hows and whys of planning a system; followed by a hands-on experience with pipe fitting, valve manifold construction, and timer installation; as well as suggestions for where to find parts and help.
This workshop is intended for backyard gardeners, not professional installers.
Workshop will be led by Kara Dohrenwend of Wildland Scapes and Rhonda Gotway from the Youth Garden.
