Hi everyone,
World Plone Day 2009[1] is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd 2009. I
have to admit I'm a little busy this year organising Kiwi PyCon 2009[2]
but I'd be keen to help organise a Christchurch WPD event, perhaps in
conjunction with MED like last year - Shane?
Is anyone else interested in hosting a WPD event this year? From the
post-mortem on last year's event it appears that when the focus is to
introduce a particular subset of people to Plone, the event went off
better, i.e. not just existing users of Plone but newcomers is the idea.
As a side point, at Kiwi PyCon I plan on presenting something re. Plone
to try and stir up some interest/awareness of Plone in the Python
community in NZ.
