Heat.exe and dark.exe both use WiX extensions to generate WiX source files.
The initial list of extensions to use are supplied via the corresponding
.config file, augmented by the -ext <extension> command-line argument (or
response-file equivalent).
Or are you referring to the extensions' code callable by these two tools? Or
are you referring to something else entirely?
