I'm Wendy Im 52 and I live in Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, I'm originally from Shrewsbury in Shropshire but lived in Yorkshire for 48 years.  I have My wonderful Steve we've been together 10 years, I have two boys, Mathew 24 and Joel 19 who have luckily for us moved out.

live in stoke on trent all my life.been marrried to john for 29 years my second marriage.i have two sons christopher who is 36 in april and jonathan who is 29 in august.we have two dogs.when i worked i have done loads of different jobs could never settle down my favorite job was barmaid.and i used to be a curtain maker in a sewing room.i have loads of hobbies but not enough time to do them all card making,reading ,knitting the list goes on.

But i was born in Liverpool, and then move to Salford,  for a few years,then in 1971 my family moved to Blackheath London. Were i met my wonderful Steve,we have been married for 36 years and have 4 children Tamara 35, Jennifer 34, Stephen 32,and Joanna how was 30 last Sunday. We have 11 grandchildren and one thats due next month 6 girls and 5 boy. I have lots of hobbys, reading, taking photos, cardmaking, scrapbooking, knitting. Olive

Hi,I am Rita I am 52 years old and live in Essex although I was born in east London.I am on my second marriage to my carer Ron We have been married 7 years.I have 4 children in heaven,my daughter died from cot death 33 years ago and then I lost 3 babies during pregnancy.I have 4 stepsons but only one lives with us,he is 21 years old.I am a Spiritualist and have been since I was 14 years old.I have 2 dogs,4 cats and a horse and my Stepson has a rat
My hobbies are cross-stitch,cardmaking,reading,crosswords and used to be horse riding but I can no longer do that.I used to work at a riding school/stables,mucking out 18 horses a day and looking after them but sadly can no longer work because of health problems (see my signature)

I'm Julia and I'm 53 years young (probably more like 5 in attitude!) I married my wonderful best mate 25 years ago and we have Dan and Jen. We have 3 grandchildren and a great dil Kate. We live in Bristol but wish it was Cornwall most of the time (I've given up the thought of moving 'cos of all my friends here!!) I travelled around during my late teens/early twenties (a lot of hitch-hiking), worked abroad in Paris, then Jersey and then Hull and Torquay finally coming back to Bristol 'cos it's got everything here and is easy reach to most seasides!! I was quite a rebel and it took meeting Simon for me to calm down a bit (well.... a little bit!) I've always loved art, was a bespoke framer for many years, have tried most hobbies and still do lots, photgraphy is a big favourite and am attempting to teach myself to paint but Simon will always be a much better artist than me!! Grrr!! I love VW's and have a T4 van and have had two old Land Rovers in the past which we had loads of fun in. I love camping but hubby does it for a living so it takes a lot to drag him away!!

Oh yes, I also love feeling happy

Hello I'm Graham, 56 married 34 years with two children and three lovely grandchildren.

Live in Nottinghamshire, spent most of my working life in the Printing Industry first with commercial printers and latterly with local newspapers, now working at home as an Assistant to my wife who is a Registered Childminder.

Hobbies include Football (Notts County fan - stop laughing), brewing and drinking beer (can't drink much these days though), cooking (as long as I don't have to clean up the kitchen), bird watching and photographing birds (when they stay still long enough) and of course most important the thing that keeps me sane......going away in my camper van and relaxing.

Long term ambition to retire at 60 and travel Europe in the van but that was before the dreaded credit crunch decimated my savings.

Divorced..... 3 kids. Jake 20, Rhys nearly 18 and Rowena 13. I have a boyfriend, of 7 years, but he lives in Macclesfield which is nearly 200 miles away from Pontypridd where I live. (I'd like to keep it that way)
I like cardmaking and doing stuff. I try to potter about most of the day.
I can be bossy but I'm working on that. I call a spade, a spade and people only ask my opinion if they want an honest answer, I'm not a nodding dog.... which can offend.  
I'm happy most of the time. I try not to focus on the shit stuff of fibro..... I try to work within my reduced parameters to have the best time for me. When I am happy it directly affects those I love. So it is important.
I am still friendly with my ex husband and he'll be visiting the kids tonight, He makes tea when he comes so I don't have to cook.... it's great but only happens about once a month.

hi my name is dawn, i live in portishead (born n bred but have moved away a few times) i am married gordon in 83 we had four children but sadly divorced in 93 but after years apart and a few hiccups on my part we got back together and married AGAIN almost two years ago. we now have two grandchildren and one due in december.
i love my family, they are all so brilliant, helpful and loving and so supportive since my invasion of fibro. but i say make the most of what you can do and not the worst of what you cant and i may have it, but it sure is heck isnt having me.

I'm Nikki. Turned the big 40 last October. Married to my wonderful paramedic hubby Mark and have two children Adam(16) and Justine (12). Used to be a nurse but had to give that up due to the joys of this condition. Used to enjoy cross stitch but can no longer do it hence the daft user name.
I live in Burtonwood, Warrington, Cheshire and love it. Spend the summer sitting in the garden and the winter in the house staring at the four walls along with my dog Sandy who is a mutt but is loveable.
Enjoy not having to work but do miss the company sometimes and would rather be without this damn fibro but then I can't have everything!!

Hello I am Kerry, Originally from Sheffield, my family still there. I moved to doncaster for job reasons and of course a man. was with him 8 years then i left him and was seeing mike who then left his wife (i am the scarlett woman!!!) Mike and i have been together 5 years and been married for 2. I am 33 and mike is 50 but he is a lot fitter and healthier than i will ever be now. we own a bookshop which i run on my own and i love it, its the best thing i ever done. Hobbies - well dont really have any, I work, work, work   shop when i have a bit of money. and i love Audi cars   i want one, i want it now!!!!  I do like my music though and of course reading when i get time lol xx
