Hello,

I am new to this project.  I worked at JPM for a year on a really similar project (for equities only tho ...).  Anyways, I hope to be able to contribute something.

Do the developers here use Eclipse for the ORS?  If so are the .project and .workspace files somewhere in the repository?

Hi Sangaran,

Thanks for your interest in Marketcetera. We actually use both Eclipse
and IntelliJ internally, but we don't check in the .classpath nor the
workspace files in.
Instead, we rely on the Maven's eclipse:eclipse (or idea:idea) task to
generate the Eclipse project files.

You can see the instructions on how to build Photon at
http://trac.marketcetera.org/trac.fcgi/wiki/0.5.0/Marketcetera/BuildingPhoton
, or you can see the overall platform instructions at
http://trac.marketcetera.org/trac.fcgi/wiki/0.5.0/Marketcetera/BuildingPlatform

Let me know if you run into any issues, and look forward to your
comments and ideas.

thanks
