Hello,
I have an image data of 7 bands and I would like to render the first, second and fifth bands as false color image. I try to understand how images are rendered in GridCoverage2D but I got confused with "visibleband"; What's the meaning of this visibleband in case of multibanded coverage which is rendered as RGB image (false color)?  I am using geotools 2.4.
Thanks.
Agossa.

Hi Agossa,

Visible band simply means the one you are displaying, ie. a single
selected band in a multi-band image, so it doesn't apply to what you
are doing.
