Hi Tamer,
The 1.2 branch has been renamed to 2.0 after 1.2 M2. You can find more
details here:
http://blog.noelios.com/2009/05/27/restlet-2-0-m3-released/In your case, I suggest that you use Restlet 2.0 M3, or better a more recent
2.0 snapshot which fixes several annoying issue with the ServerResource
class, until we release 2.0 M4 later this month.
Note that the compilation errors come from the packages renaming that was
done in Restlet 2.0. No class has been removed. They were 'just' moved to a
different package as explained in those posts:
http://blog.noelios.com/2009/04/01/restlet-12-m2-released/http://blog.noelios.com/2009/01/23/restlet-12-m1-released/Most IDEs can help you adjusting your imports. In Eclipse, just press
CTRL+SHIFT+'o'.
Best regards,
Jerome Louvel

Objet : What is the difference between Restlet 1.1.5 and 1.2M2
Hi,
I am currently using Restlet 1.2M2. However, I was looking in the tutorial
for servletadapter and others in the ext.servlet api doc (on the restlet
site), and I could not find most of the classes referenced in the examples.
So I decided to go on the restlet download site to investigate why I am
missing classes in my ext.servlet package. I found that there is a stable
release of Restlet that is more up-to-date than 1.2M2, but the version is
1.1.5. The version number indicates an older version.
I downloaded it and replaced the 1.2M2 jars that were in my code, and the
compiler went crazy. It seems that 1.1.5 and 1.2 are vastly different; at
least for the classes that I am using.
Can anyone please explain to me which one is more up to date, and what is
the difference between these two version?
Thank you,
Tamer
